Originally from Ottawa, where he was a public servant for 30+ years, Rob moved to White Rock three years ago to enjoy Canada’s West Coast life. He has been employed by the City of White Rock since September, 2019 in the Recreation & Culture Department, mostly at Centennial Arena. Always wanting to help where he can, Rob joined the Executive Council of CUPE 402-01 – White Rock City Workers’ Union – in October, 2020 as a Member-at-Large and assisted with Budgets, By-Laws and Marketing. At a February, 2021 meeting of the membership, Rob was acclaimed as the Chair of CUPE 402-01. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing hockey, running outdoors, volunteering and travel. Rob and his wife, Kathy, have three adult children who live in Alberta and Ontario.
